This word is best used as metamorphic. For this reason such a metamorphic explanation is always used to describe a personality. It basically deals upon the character of person.

Yet this word will not be used in drudgery way and form. And subsequently it is limited. For example one cannot say that such a person does have an elastic look. However it could be used as praise, for example a personality could be described as elastic in diplomacy. And being elastic in diplomacy it is a very arduous task.

It is better known about a person being elastic in character than other description. More significantly here being elastic is an art in itself.
