Her
name is Leslie and she is from Canada but she has a temptation
to study Chinese. She was a beautiful lady. And she came all
the way from Canada to live down and study Chinese at Beijing.
There she met this man a student after all who came from Arabia.
She met different kind of foreigners who came to study in
China but there was this man or rather this student whom she
felt attached too emotionally. For she always looked after
strange thing in the life of hers. She knew very well it's
only a friendship and nothing more therefore they met on several
occasions. In one particular period she felt emotionally attached
to such a student and therefore they continued in meeting
each other from time to time. On one occasion he invited her
for dinner at a Chinese restaurant near their college of their
study.
At
this particular time Leslie was not aware of what she was
going to encounter from any way that is possible. She slowly
thought that this lover had to go to China from Arabia to
meet her lover. She came to a conclusion that this lover of
hers emotionally who has from Arabia deserved a particular
attention here. It should be recognized that life in China
in that particular time was very special for foreigners. It
should be recognized here that for foreigners especially at
that particular time was special for them. In being as such
she set her life accordingly. At the same time her decision
to engulf in her emotional love affair was particular at the
same time because everything that surround her was adjusted
in the same manner. From among these matters it is a question
for having continuing the love affair here. Above all she
was very content in her emotional aspiration for the future,
which troubled her beyond recognition here. She knew very
well that her stay in China was limited periodically.
It
was very clear for Leslie to think likewise. For at the same
time her lover emotionally thought of this all affairs to
be a passing matter. And within this range of thinking and
practicing emotional criteria was a matter that only time
can resolve beyond any human adjustment, which was their matter
of involvement here. The decision became here very logical
when they thought they could have both friendship and love
at the same time. It remained like this for time to come with
the evolving of months upon months without anything scratching
their emotional attachment and they continued living as such
in the same time without any conceivable hindrance here. And
they continued at the same time to indulge in this affair
only emotionally and there was no need for future planning
for their love affair.
