He was revered by the people of China and certain people around the world and in particular Edgar Snow, the American writer. He lived like an emperor. And he died as such. He was a womanizer until he married a Chinese actress called Chiang. He became acquainted with art. But politics is not a safe route. Being a leader of China, in the communist party, he took care of the political writings. While he wrote about nature, he wrote the best classical poetry. There were whims of alienation immersed in this poetry. One can say about Mao, he was suffering from silent alienation.
