Mariam
is a young Kuwaiti beautiful and intelligent human being on
earth and in this way she continued a thirst for life as if
nothing could bother her. She was beautiful and her life was
glittering with happiness and above all she was a Kuwaiti
freedom fighter. She grew up as a child in Kuwait like any
other teenager she had emotional attachment to the famous
in life especially those who were famous in cinemas, and this
is basically a common affair with teenagers all around the
world and she grew up in a well to do family economically
but not extremely rich. At the same time she roamed around
the globe from here and there the preferable place for her
was the U.S.A where she could have and enjoy her freedom without
any social or otherwise restriction. And normally again like
all other teenagers around the world she had emotional attachment
to other pleasures in life especially dancing. She was well
interested in million ways and she kept her distance from
whoever is annoying her especially about her beauty. At one
day in Kuwait she woke up. She was sure that the Iraqi regime
of Saddam Hussein had invaded Kuwait. She refused to accept
the invasion instead of going with her family trying out of
her best trying to get together the people of the family and
otherwise with such a strong attachment she didn't came at
all what these crimes of Saddam Hussein were going to do to
her or other Kuwaiti who resisted their families in Kuwait
without being invited. And when the resist was beyond any
attachment except her life to be in a comforting corner of
the globe. At the same time there were two dictums that she
had very dear to her heart. The first one has to do with the
land of Kuwait while the second one has to do with the well
being of the ruling family of Kuwait, Al Sabah family headed
by his highness the Amir of Kuwait. Nevertheless she stayed
and continued resistance against the invading danger over
exercising any military acts of oppression. And Mariam meanwhile
kept her conviction while her political or otherwise very
strong attire.
And
then on attachment to Kuwait became beyond any human recognition
here. She always thought that one day will come when all of
the Kuwaitis will be free and happy. Her conviction in freedom
was overwhelming her. Yet at the same time freedom does have
its own regulations and conditions to continue in life. However
one should expect from Kuwait because of its nature that it
is a traditional society.
Freedom
or rather liberty for a human being is very precious. And
this precious affair of a human being does allow a person
to become a different person under all human condition and
this affair was noted with Mariam above all. She came from
two noted families in Kuwait and one of her relative became
a famous martyr while the other one from the distant family
connection became one of those Kuwaitis that had to be a prisoner
of war (P.O.W). But Mariam was expecting to be a prisoner
because she has grown up and it was the right time that she
built her own private family and she got what she wanted.
She was proposed to a young gentleman to whom they both carried
on the family direction of building a tattered society due
to the invasion of Kuwait. Needless to say here that Mariam
was aware of all obstacles that were created from the society
especially as far as a woman is concerned. She lived with
a hope of creating whatever her mind can create in glorifying
her country.
