At
the end of the decade of 1940 the United Nations was created
in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. And from this period
onwards the United Nation Organization faced two critical
major international crisis, the first one had to do with Cuba,
in 1960 while the second one which concerned Kuwait and Iraq
during 2003, it should be noticed here that the two crisis
are far different. The first crisis, the Cuban missile crisis
was basically among the three states the former Soviet Union
allied with Cuba and on the other side the U.S.A. At that
period the world was lucky because on one flank there was
a leader in the Soviet Union named Khrushev who was from peasant
background was low opinion of the United Nation for he was
very famous in international diplomacy who battered his shoes
on the table while the United Nations discussed an international
crisis here, where on the other flank there was the highly
educated President Kennedy who went to the best universities
and he was highly educated. And then President Bush followed,
while the other crisis left all alone to the U.S.A to deal
with and the U.S.A. at this time was under the leadership
of President Bush and this time. And President Bush is a capable
president, he put forward the idea that he will act away from
the United Nations, and this idea by itself is a remarkable
idea and President Bush knew exactly what he meant.
